RADOIR NEWS_ Dr. Maryam Imaniyeh, Dr. MohamadJavad Zarif’s wife, appointed as RADOIR ambassador of kindness.
A meeting session to call for rare patient’s support between Rare Diseases Foundation of Iran and Diplomatic Ladies Association was held on Wednesday 10th October at RADOIR.A group of Diplomatic ladies from different countries; Hungary, Finland, Pakistan, Malaysia, Australia, Bulgaria, Netherlands and south Korea accompanied by Dr. Maryam Imaniyeh, Dr. Zarif’s wife attended the event.
Dr. Imaniyeh while admiring the character and achievements of Dr. Davoudian, the founder of RADOIR, emphasized: “Thinking about someone who doesn’t have any problem but cares for the rare patients by hook or crook, is really implied as the full sense of peace and humanity. Besides, Dr. HamidReza Edraki presented a report about RADOIR national and international activities and also introduced lack of control & treatment on Rare Diseases and the latest diagnosis as the main problem in the country.
Dr. Edraki added: “Another problem of rare patients is to supply orphan drugs. There has not been Rare Pharmacy dedicated only to these type of diseases yet and there are lots of steps which cause delay and difficulties.”
