The first anniversary of Dr. Ali Davoudian, the father of Iranian rare patients coincides with the demise of Imam Reza in Aban 16th ( 30th October) in his birthplace (Bahnamir) with the presence of the country and provincial authorities; including Mr Govahi, representative of the supreme leader, Sardar Nanvakenari, chairman of the national security committee.
Mr. Davoudian was one of the well-known figures in the cultural and economic arena who had attended many charity activities such as school establishment and etc. After making so much efforts he could establish the rare diseases foundation of Iran with the aim of creating an appropriate place for rare patients in 2009.
The rare diseases had been completely unknown until the founding of the foundation by Dr. Davoudian. Dr. Davoudian passed away at the age of 58 due to the heart attack, nine years after the establishment of RADOIR.
