In order to establish R & D collaborative committee on the scientific research prioritizations for the rare patients’ needs, a meeting session was held together with RADOIR & TUMS authorities.
RADOIR NEWS- According to the collaboration MOU countersigned between RADOIR & TUMS, Dr.Sahraeian visited RADOIR clinical center and had a meeting with Dr.Hamid Reza Edraki, Managing Director and Dr.Mehdi Norouzi, Deputy Sicentific Research on Jan. 5, 2019. He declared that TUMS is fully prepared in expanding research and collaborations based on the priority of met and unmet needs of the rare patients.
Dr.Sahraeian noted, ‘’The University’s Medical as well as its Metabolic Research Center located at Children’s Medical Hospital, are ready to make prosthetics for patient and have an excellent capacities for doing researches on the projects on the rare diseases. In addition, the Faculty of Pharmacy has achieved successful results in producing drug for ALS patients.’’
Dr.Sahraeian, one of the MS society founders added, ’’Supporting NGO’s is one of the TUMS’s targets, so we are planning to call for volunteer professionals and science committee members to assist such organizations.
